IX International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin
International Dance Theatres Festival has an exceptional atmosphere thanks to the fact that most of the choreographers coming to Lublin lead workshops during Festival and also their theatres, like in old times of Lublin student festivals, spend the whole time on the Festival.
Thanks to that there is a chance for integration, exchanging ideas and discussions.
The festival has its own, discriminating audience, which react faultlessly to the artistic proposals.
The greatest hit of the Festival were presentations of Souloworks and Viewsic Expressions from USA ? five amazing pearls! Such wonderful works put Lublin Festival on the top of contemporary theatre events. Hope to see more in the future!
Andrzej Molik, Art Papier, 15 December 2005
Thanks to the performance of Cie Linga from Switzerland we know that the "dance theatre" is not only emotions and impressions evoked by dance and music. It is also a very specific and important record, in this case ? a warning and impulse for reflection on a condition of human being trapped by hypermarkets craziness.

VIII International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin
The most important artistic event in Lublin was 8th International Dance Theatres Festival. During four days, 11 ? 14 November, we had opportunity to watch 9 performances presented by ensembles and soloists from USA, Great Britain, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia and Poland. This number of presentations, lower than in last years, might have evoked a feeling of insufficiency (I personally wouldn?t mind if the festival was one day longer), but this feeling was entirely compensated by a very high level of the performances.

Four days in halls of Culture Centre in Lublin and University Culture Centre full of young, eager audience. Performances from 6 countries, 3 of them presented by big and 6 by small companies.
Andrzej Molik, Kurier Lubelski, 16 November 2004
Nine performances during four days ? it was really optimal portion, for a human measure, without crazy running from a hall to hall. And thanks to that the performances stayed longer in our minds, with vivid and long lasting impression.

VII International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin
During four days, 8 ? 11 November 2003, dance lovers had their great festivity in our city ? 7th International Dance Theatres Festival, organised by Culture Centre in Lublin, Technical University of Lublin and Association of Cultural Education.
Festival has a form of an encounter: each year different traditions, forms and experiences meet on stages and workshop halls. This year we saw artists from all the sites of Europe: from France and Holland to Belarus, and from Hungary to Norway and Finland.
I do recommend the next edition of the Festival in 2004 ? I am its admirer from the very beginning and I never regretted it.

VI International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin
Three days of 6th International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin show how much of creative potency covers this young art domain.
Andrzej Molik, Kurier Lubelski, 12 November 2002
It seems that Lublin has become a real international contemporary dance centre.
As usually a very important element of the festival were National Contamporary Dance Workshops taught by the choreographers and dancers from invited companies. There were very interesting movies brought by British Council and the exhibition of Danuta Wojcik?s drawings. But the most important is fact that the programme of presentations was so interesting that crowds of people came to see performances.
The final Polish and American presentations were a very strong accent of the 6th International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin. This year?s edition was so interesting that it can easily compete with another famous Lublin festival - Theatre Confrontations.
Andrzej Molik, Kurier Lubelski, 13 November 2002
Thinking about International Dance Theatres Festival one has to notice its specific feature: variety. Thanks to the organisers, Hanna Strzemiecka and Grzegorz Rzepecki, each year we have an opportunity to experience a wide range of styles, schools and techniques of dance ? always received by the audience with a great admiration.
International Dance Theatres Festival was one of the most important and best artistic events of the year in our city. It is a pity we have to wait for its next edition a whole year. But the festival?s history says it is rally worth waiting.
Andrzej Kowalczyk, Nasze Miasto, 15 November, 2002
Young audience, full theatres, surprising and interesting programme ? it?s the shortest review of International Lublin Dance Theatres Festival.
There is no doubt: International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin has become a firm element of the cultural landscape of our city, more and more acknowledged and popular - full halls of Culture Centre and Musical Theatre prove that evidently.
